I have had dental work done in the past, and specifically, these four front teeth. Dr. Jones and her team… When I made them aware that I was not happy because one tooth came out, and I was happy with the cap teeth that I had. One came out. It was not…they weren’t able to save it. And the former practice that I had involvement with, they replaced the tooth and the tooth did not match the other four teeth that had been replaced earlier. Therefore, I was terribly unsatisfied. They did it again, and it was not much better.
Dr. Jones and her team, they made a concerted effort to make me happy. So, they took pictures of the teeth. The material that was used to make the teeth, those pictures were sent to their lab so that they could get to kinda match. So, the pictures were taken inside and outside so that the lab personnel could see exactly what was needed. When the tooth arrived, that replacement, the two teeth that I had replaced to make sure that they match. It matched the other tooth that was there. So, I couldn’t be more pleased with that particular service than any other service I’ve had with the dental work I’ve had done.
The only thing that compares to it is the original work I had done years ago at another practice. And for them to replicate what I had when I was really happy just speaks really well of them because what was done with that replacement tooth, I was terribly unhappy. I would not allow people to see my top or bottom teeth, and I was just a really upset and frustrated person. I expressed my joy and admiration for what they did when they replaced those two front teeth that matched the other two that was there.

I’ve had a couple of crowns here, and also, crowns that were from a root canal. Dr. Jones has finished one of my root canals before and placed the crown for me. I had sensitivity to cold, and went in, and had an x-ray, and they saw that I needed to have a root canal. So, they referred me to the endodontist, and then, once the endodontist was finished, I came back and got my crown. They always show me my x-rays and, you know, if they find anything that needs to be taken care of they show me the tooth and what needs to be done and keep me, you know, up-to-date on what needs to be finished and what I should do next.
It’s a good atmosphere, and they always do ask you, “Are you okay? Do you need anything?” And they check on you periodically through the work. Very satisfied. I feel like that they’ve given me the best crown and filling that I could get.

I had a tooth that had some prior fillings in it over the years. I was eating one night and it was on a soft piece of bread, it was nothing hard, and my tooth broke. I came in to see the folks here. And based on how the tooth had broken, the possibility of doing a crown on the tooth was just not feasible without doing a lot of extra work that may or may not hold up for the long term. So I was able to get a consultation with the doctor who does the implant work here. After talking with him, I felt confident and comfortable that having an implant done would be the right way to preserve the tooth.
Implants are a long procedure. It’s been probably nine months by the time you do extractions and grafts and all the things they have to do to make it possible. I just recently got, actually yesterday, got my implant crown and I love it. I chewed last night for the first time on the left side of my face. It was great.

Well, I actually came to this office because there’s another practice here, in Blythewood, and I had to cancel an appointment because our subdivision is at a railroad crossing and they were doing work on the railroad crossing and I wasn’t able to leave and make it to my appointment. So, they told me they wouldn’t see me anymore. So, luckily, I called this office, they worked me in, they were really sweet, and they’ve always been more understanding and just better all around than the other practices here in Blythewood.
I tell anybody, man, smile is probably the number one way to communicate without even saying anything. You know, sometimes you can be having a bad day and you can walk along and somebody smiles at you and brighten your day up. But if you have teeth missing, you’re not too eager to smile. It’s very important to be happy, you know, to have a good smile.
I’ve been a nurse for 35 years. I do a lot of tension holding in my shoulders and in my jaw. I clench my teeth at night, during the day, it’s all the time. I was having a lot of jaw pain here that extended up the left side of my head, which would just give me horrible headaches. I was here recently for a cleaning and it was mentioned to me that they do Botox in the office. I had had it prior too in Charlotte and it worked well, so I thought I would give it another try and I’m really glad I did.
So you have two muscles here on the lower jaw where I clench, these are the muscles that are mostly affected, and they inject the Botox into that particular muscle and within maybe three to five days, you can actually feel the muscle relax. The tension goes away, the headaches went away. It’s just really an amazing overall feel.
So my headaches that I was having are gone. I do still clench. I don’t think that’ll ever go away, but the tightness in my jaw that I was feeling that was causing my headaches is markedly better and it therefore makes my days a lot better. It will improve your life 100%. I would highly recommend somebody to come and have it done. At least talk to them about it. You won’t really know what it feels like until you have it done and how much better it will be.
